A Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives,
Gabreielle Giffords of Arizona represented 8th congressional district of
Arizona form 2007. She was attacked on 8 January, 2011. During a
meeting with constituent an assailant opened fire outside a grocery
store, Garielle Giffords became a victim of gunshooting. She was shot in
the head.
It was reported as a murder attempt on Giffords. About six people were killed and thirteen people were offended in this shooting. After the attack, Giffords was surviving in a critical condition. Because the bullet attacked straight through her brain.
Gabrielle Giffords announced to resigning from her congressional seat on 22 Januarey 2012, for concentration
on recovering from her injuries. But she promised that in
future she will return to public service. She submitted her resignation formally on 25 January.
